Dear Readers, We just received this from the Immigration
Policy Center and wanted to reproduce it here. I believe that the
DREAM Act will once again fail to be enacted by Congress (although
one never knows). Political winds and realities change rapidly and
our elected representatives, often hesitantly and cautiously, will
follow such changes especially if they perceive a true shifting
current. I receive calls daily from individuals who would be helped
by such legislation, but Obama himself has many unilateral
immigration tools that he could use to benefit the immigrant
community (well beyond this) and, so far, has chosen to stay on the

Senators Reintroduce the DREAM Act May 11, 2011 Washington, D.C.
Today, Senators Richard Durbin, Harry Reid, and Robert
Menendezre-introduced the Development, Relief, and Education
